What Is a Bootcamp Workout?

A Bootcamp session is typically a 45 minute group fitness session led by experienced coaches who use a variety of training methods in a safe, yet effective manner to get members the results they are after.

Most gyms offer workout routines that consist of performing the same set of exercises on a daily basis. This type of workout would have you working out your upper body on a daily basis. As you can see, your upper body muscles need time to recover from the intense workout that you have given them.
Primal Athletics’ Bootcamp workouts allow for muscle groups to recover while allowing members to work out on a daily basis. Because of the workout is changed up daily, members are able to work out different parts of their body daily.

Our Bootcamp style of workouts focus on different aspects of fitness. For example, we have lower body workouts as well as upper body workouts. We also have core workouts from time to time. On some days, we will have a workout that focuses on our overall conditioning. We also have mobility and athletic performance workouts. Each day, we focus on a different set of aspects of our overall fitness. This is one of the many things that sets us apart from other gyms.

The schedule for our workouts allows for recovery time between sessions for the different muscle groups. For example, if we work the lower body one day, we won’t work it again for several days after that. With the variety of different workouts that we do, you will start to see changes in your body before you even get bored with the program.

Every day in our Bootcamp program is a different workout with different objectives. Every workout targets different muscle groups and our Bootcamp members attend several classes throughout the week because they know that each workout will help improve strength, endurance, mobility and overall health. And with 27 classes to choose from every week, our members can ensure they are getting the proper amount of training to reach their fitness goals while allowing for time for muscle recovery. Our classes per week give our members different ways to reach their fitness goals through exercise.

At Primal Athletics we offer 27 Bootcamp classes throughout the week in Oakville. This allows our members to receive a well-rounded physical training in a variety of ways. We offer 5 classes per weekday and 2 on Saturday mornings. All of our 45 minute workouts can be fit into even the busiest of schedules. Our programs are always varied so no matter how many classes you attend you will not be repeating the same workout.
