Analyze Your Goals

First, figure out what your goal is related to your health & fitness. Is it to live a healthier lifestyle, get stronger, run faster, have a flat stomach, or get 6 pack abs? Now is the time to explore what you want the new you to look and feel like.

Develop a Plan

Next, decide how you are going to achieve your goals. We recommend to sit down and map out a plan of how you will get from where you are today to where you want to be in the future. Most likely, it will involve a lifestyle change of some sort! Be prepared to sacrifice and make changes in your daily habits and behaviours in order to achieve your goals. Remember, plans can change over time as you progress so don’t be afraid to revisit the plan often to make sure you are still on track for your goals or adjust as needed.

Track Your Progress

If you cant measure it, you can’t track it – tracking is an important tool to measure success, no matter how small. Use weekly photos, tape measurements, a favourite dress or pair of pants and calliper testing (don’t worry, we can help with all of this) to see how you are changing over time. With this kind of bio-feedback, the plan can be adjusted, tweaked and modified to help keep you on track.

Achieve Your Goal

Celebrate the small successes and the bigger ones when you hit your goals! Once you have achieved your goal, set new ones to keep you engaged and motivated. Hit that weight loss goal? How about setting a new fitness goal and training for it?
